Ken has an interesting mix of career and life experiences. He has been an attorney for thirty years, served eight years as the Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Shreveport, Louisiana, and as an investment banker has earned his Series 50, 52 and 63 licenses in his working career.
His life experiences are equally as vast. Ken is a Division I College Football Official for Conference USA, is a lifetime board member of the Independence Bowl (of which he is a past chairman) in addition to serving on the Independence Bowl Selection Committee, was a Louisiana high school football official for thirty years, currently serves on the Caddo/Bossier Sports Commission and likes to play golf as well as enjoys hanging out here in Arkansas on Lake Hamilton.
Ken grew up near Alexandria, Louisiana. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies from Northeast Louisiana University (now University of Louisiana Monroe) and earned his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law. Ken and his wife, Kathryn, live in Shreveport. They have four children between them as well as four grandchildren.
