Crews & Associates submits bids direct on Treasury auctions in the primary market and trades actively in the secondary market, providing both investment opportunities and liquidity. Trade sizes range from several hundred dollars to as much as $100 million. U.S. Treasury “strips,” together with many other Agency “zero coupon” instruments, are traded for virtually any amount.
Our firm is also active in the area of alternate money market products for investors with a shorter-term perspective. These product lines include commercial paper, bankers’ acceptances, certificates of deposit, Federal Agency discount, and medium-term notes. The secondary market is quite large and creates an abundant source of these offerings.
Crews & Associates has daily access to the inventories of major issuers and underwriters nationwide. In addition, our firm has the ability to deal directly with local banks, Federal Agency and commercial paper issuers like General Electric, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, IBM, Chevron, and Morgan Stanley to write specific investments tailored to the client’s need.
