Dan Lovelady understands the ins and outs of running an Arkansas school district. As a former public school superintendent, Dan has successfully operated both the Dover and Piggott School Districts. For First Security Beardsley Public Finance, he will call on schools to offer his experience and FSBeardsley’s fiscal agent and financial advisory services.

Dan’s prior experience as a superintendent has given him expertise in fiscal management, coordination of curriculum and personnel supervision. His background as a coordinator for the Arkansas Department of Education also includes particular emphasis on fiscal management, facility planning and management, continuing education and compliance. He has direct experience dealing with compliance issues, providing technical support to school boards and administrators, and financial planning.

Dan holds a Master’s degree in School Administration from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and is close to earning his Education Specialist Degree from UALR. He is active in community and professional affiliations that include the Arkansas Association of School Administrators and the Arkansas Rural Educators Association, two groups devoted to understanding the issues faced by public schools.
